Our product is sold in thousands of retailers across the US. The best way to find a retailer near you would be to use our retailer search: https://www.silhouette.com/us/us/retailersearch
Silhouette is a wholesale company only, we only sell our products directly to our retailers. For this reason we have never offered a consumer warranty, because our frames cannot be purchased directly from us on a retail level. The warranty on your frame lies with your original place of purchase not Silhouette.
The titanium eyewear is made from a high-quality beta titanium alloy. However, a small percentage consists of other precious metals. In a similar way, genuine gold jewelry is not made from 100% gold because it would be too soft!
The additions to the alloy neither irritate the wearer, nor trigger any allergies: instead, they enhance the material. Unfortunately, we can’t provide any more detailed information about the alloy mixture.
Our main suppliers are based in Asia.
Polarized lenses work like a filter to filter out reflections coming off reflective surfaces. Their design enables them to filter light reflected off horizontal surfaces, such as water.
At this time Silhouette does not make prescription lenses in the US. We are really excited to announce the start of Vision Sensation. Vision Sensation is our brand new state of the art lens lab operating steps away from our manufacturing facility. If you would like to learn more about it you can here: https://www.silhouette.com/gb/en/vision-sensation

The first figure denotes the standard that your eyewear complies with (see the table of standards). The figure in square brackets [ ] identifies the protection level in Australia or Europe (= filter category or shade number) Sunglasses with codes 1 and 9 carry the CE symbol and comply with the 89/686/EEC directive. They correspond to the harmonized standard EN 1836 in the EU and the ANSI Z80.3 American National Standard. Products with codes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 or 12 carry the CE symbol. Your sunglasses protect against blinding by sunlight, against natural UV radiation (100% UV protection), and provide protection from snow, rain and wind.
They do not provide suitable protection against: Shocks, hard objects, looking directly into the sun, lamps with high radiant energy, solariums.
To avoid damaging them, you should always store and transport your sunglasses in a suitable case. Replace broken filters with equivalent filters!
To keep your sunglasses in an optimal condition, clean them regularly with clear water and a soft cloth. You can also use a mild soap, washing up liquid or standard commercial eyewear cleaners. Don’t polish damp filters. Dab them or let them air dry.

We offer Clip-ons in two different colors: grey-green and brown. By and large you can get Clip-ons for all our designs, including all collections in the ‘Extravagant’ Lifestyle World range. The lenses have a polarized effect.
Most frames are compatible with two different options; the Style Shades clip or a service clip. The Style Shades can be found via the link below and is available in a mirrored polarized grey or mirrored polarized bronze with an option of 5 shapes. They come much larger than the prescription lenses to give the frame a true sunglass look. The other option is the service clip which is available in a polarized grey or polarized brown option. That will come with the same shape as your prescription lenses but 2mm larger to provide full lens coverage. Both clips can be ordered through any retailer in your area.

When your frames are not on the best place to keep them is in the Silhouette case that was provided to you upon purchase. There is also a cleaning cloth included with your glasses which is used for cleaning finger prints and/or smudges ONLY. Remove the visible dirt and grit from lens surface by lightly brushing with edge of cloth prior to cleaning. Carefully wipe the lens in a circular motion while holding the edge of the lens not the bridge. The cloth can be washed and re-used repeatedly with a mild detergent. Do not dry the cloth with a dryer sheet or water softeners because it will leave a deposit on your lens. When cleaning the glasses we suggest gently washing with warm soapy water to eliminate any smudging or debris that may accumulate on your lenses. Dry with a soft, clean cloth while holding the edge of the lens not the bridge. A lens cleaner specially formulated for Anti-reflection coatings can be used between soap and water cleanings.
