TMA – The Icon. Gold Edition - An icon in gold

The Titan Minimal Art turns 20 with a luxurious golden edition

In 1999, Austrian premium eyewear manufacturer Silhouette revolutionized the global eyewear market with a rimless model that has become a design icon and international best-seller in the 20 years that followed. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the iconic Titan Minimal Art (TMA) will appear this October in a model that evokes images of dazzling fireworks. Designer Gerhard Fuchs is dipping the world’s most famous rimless eyewear in gold and adorning it with sparkling gemstones.

Two exciting new men’s models combine extraordinary color effects with minimalistic elegance. This is the first model to feature a two-tone effect with subtle contrasts from the front to the side. The Swarovski crystals in the Black Diamond and the Crystal Clear temples of the new women’s models look like champagne bubbles.

All are made using pure titanium for signature Silhouette lightness and ultimate comfort. The 23-carat gold plating turns them into a luxurious fashion statement.

TMA – The Icon. Gold Edition includes two women’s models with different lens shapes. The Gold/Crystal color combination is the most luxurious of these. It features yellow gold, clear crystals, a refined pearl effect and a decorative ring at the earpieces. The model in Rhodium/Black Diamond features a harmonious interplay of silver surfaces, smoky anthracite crystals and various shades of grey, creating an enchanting combination.

The men’s model features extraordinary color effects, from the dazzling side parts of the bridge in the Elegant Gold/Rhodium Gold color combination, to the Rhodium inner side of the model in Sophisticated Rhodium/Gold. The black earpieces add the perfect finishing touch to both color combinations. TMA – The Icon. Gold Edition is available from October 2019.
