Silhouette transforms the exclusivity of the islands with the new Rimless Shades models into its SUN Collection 2022, making them tangible and above all wearable for everyone. As the world leader in rimless eyewear, Silhouette’s design expertise comes to the fore once more, only this time in the world of women’s sunglasses. For its new, ultralight Rimless Shades models, the Austrian premium rimless eyewear manufacturer took inspiration from the elegant and refined design of high-end lamps. Both models can be 1:1 optically glazed, custom-made to their frames at the in-house Lens Lab with the expertise of Silhouette Vision Sensation®.

Glamorous, minimalistic, and eye-catching
The Rimless Shades don’t just protect the eyes. They are a beautiful accessory that lets the femininity and style of the wearer shine through. Despite their glamorous looks, the glasses also boast a minimalist aesthetic so that they remain understated and in step with contemporary fashion. “Minimalist, ultrathin titanium meets striking oversized lenses,” says Roland Keplinger, neatly summarizing the design concept. “The subtle embellishments, such as color grooves and cutouts, create a standout look.” Adorning the areas between the lenses and temples, the cutouts add instant feminine charm and sophistication as well as accentuating the delicate finesse of hinge and temple.

The lens edges have a milled and handcolored finish, displaying the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into all Silhouette glasses. The colored edges, meanwhile, catch the eye and bring out the shape of the sunglasses. The Rimless Shades Collection includes two new models that are available in the extrovert color combinations Deep Pink, and Black & White in addition to the existing colors. Meanwhile, the Star Island model features a sloping double bridge that adds dynamic flair and creates a unique look.
