Silhouette is always on the lookout for new designs. And when creating their latest collection, the Austrian premium glasses manufacturer took inspiration from the plain simplicity of modern architecture. That was the seed for the Infinity Collection, which skillfully combines a plain, relaxed appearance seen from the front with temples that make a fashion statement. The collection has since been awarded the prestigious 2021 IF design award. The clear cuts and outlines of the glasses give them even more of a contemporary appearance. The rimless frames come in four women’s and men’s shapes. The cherry on the cake comes in the shape of the Silhouette Fall/Winter 2021 color palette, with nature-inspired colors that give the glasses an added sense of dimensionality and depth.

The straight geometric lines and smooth transitions at the joins also create a winning combination in this stylish collection. The sophisticated, flowing design of these rimless frames, where classic Silhouette design cues are framed within a geometric style, recall modern buildings. And it’s not just the design—the assembly of the prescription glasses are just as innovative. The new disc hinge was invented and perfected by experts at Silhouette’s headquarters in Linz, and integrates seamlessly along the length of the temple. Pure high-tech titanium on the front of the temple blends with mechanical precision into the striking SPX®+ temple end. The temples can also be adjusted with a few simple hand movements, offering the perfect fit and maximum comfort.

The Identity Collection features two signature color palettes. Men’s models are available with a modern, matte, monochrome finish and come in four shapes. The style is clean and cool masculinity is the name of the game: check out the aviator or the three classic rectangular looks in Rhodium/Navy Blue, Ruthenium/Dark Brown, Titanium/Dark Grey and Gold/Black. Meanwhile, the women’s frames will appeal to fashion hunters with elegant handmade marble patterns that counterbalance the more understated front. Four feminine shapes are available in a wide range of eye-catching styles and colors, including Ayers Red, Lavender Fields, Deep Ocean and Dark Springs, making them the perfect accessories when you want to step out in style.
