It accentuates without dominating. Its rimless, straightforward design makes Silhouette Dimension a clear statement for individualists.
Silhouette Dimension does without burdensome elements such as rims, hinges, screws, and excess weight. The straight, wide temples and bridge are made from high-tech titanium, which is responsible for the unmistakable wearer comfort thanks to its remarkable lightness.
The rimless Silhouette Dimension – a unisex eyewear model – is available in five different lens shapes and six colours at select opticians worldwide beginning May 2008.
The minimalist architecture of the 21st century was the inspiration for designer Gerhard Fuchs as he created Silhouette Dimension. Parallels between architecture and eyewear design can also be detected in the materials, as glass and metal are among the most important design elements in both disciplines. While architects use these materials to create aesthetic spaces, Silhouette uses glass and high-tech titanium for the aesthetics of its rimless eyewear.
Silhouette Dimension will be available at select opticians starting May 2008. The 6655, 6656, 7600, 7601, and 7628 models are available in the colours Frosty Silver, Real Gold, Special Bronze, Deep Purple, Midnight, and Pewter.
